Tata Communications Connect SMS integrates SMS capability, enabling Outbound & Inbound SMS from the Webex Client. It enables brands to communicate with their customers instantly via SMS. With our Connect SMS, drive conversations with your leads enabled with real time and actionable insights.
To get started:
- Add BOT to Webex client from APP HUB or add TataCommunicationsConnector@webex.bot by clicking the green button “Log in to add app+”, provide your Webex address & click "Add Bot+" button.
- Please send a random message “Hi”, “Hello” to the BOT. The BOT will request for a phone number of the user where the text needs to be sent.
- Once the details are entered, an SMS space will be created within Webex for that number and all associated Webex users for interaction
You can rename SMS space as per your requirement. Any message that is sent in this space will be sent as an Outbound SMS to the entered mobile number. If the user responds to the message, it will be seen it in the same space as an Inbound SMS.
To use Tata Communications Connect SMS, you must have an active Webex account and a subscription account with Tata Communications for Connect SMS services.
